What recruiters check first
- Qualifications and registration. Subject degree, B.Ed or M.Ed, and NTRCA registration for non-government schools are checked first. List each with the institution and year.
- Subjects and classes you have taught. Be specific: which subject, which classes, which curriculum or medium. A school hiring for Class 9 to 10 English wants to see exactly that.
- Results and contributions. Board exam results in your sections, co-curricular activities you run, exam committee work. These show impact beyond the lesson.
- Referees who have seen you teach. A principal or head of department carries more weight than a family friend. Give their post, school and contact details.

Format tips
- List NTRCA registration with its level and subject; it is often the first thing checked.
- Name the classes, subjects and curriculum you taught, not just "taught students".
- Include tutoring experience only if you are early in your career.
- Use a formal passport-size photo; schools generally expect one. A recent photo (last 6 months); for government forms, follow the circular.
- Two pages is normal for teachers with several degrees and certificates.

- Your contact details and photo, a short profile, teaching experience with subjects and classes, education (including B.Ed or M.Ed), NTRCA registration if you have it, training, skills, personal details and two references.
- Should I include my SSC and HSC results?
- Yes. Many schools and colleges check all public exam results, so list SSC and HSC with GPA out of 5.00, and your degrees with CGPA out of 4.00 or the class obtained. Start at SSC; leave out JSC/PSC.
- Should a teacher CV be in English or Bangla?
- English is standard for most private and English-version schools. For some government or Bangla-medium institutions the application form may be in Bangla; follow the circular.
- I have no school experience yet. What do I write?
- Lead with your education and training, then private tutoring, practice teaching from your B.Ed, and any coaching or volunteer teaching, each with a concrete result.
