Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using PromptCV.app (“the Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or impersonates a real person without their permission.
  • Use the Service to send spam or harvest data.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or otherwise abuse the Service or its rate limits.
  • Resell the Service or rebrand it as your own.

4. Credits, payments, and refunds

Building, editing, and tailoring your documents is free. Downloading a finished PDF costs credits, which you buy in packs. One credit downloads one document (CV or cover letter), credits do not expire, and some packs bundle AI credits for the writing features. Re-downloading the same version you already unlocked is always free.

Payments are processed by your chosen mobile financial service — bKash, Nagad, or Rocket — through our payment gateway. Because credits and downloads are digital goods delivered instantly, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds once credits have been added to your account. You can preview the full, exact PDF for free before spending any credit, so you always know what you are buying. If you believe you were charged in error or a payment failed to deliver credits, email support@promptcv.app and we will review case by case.

5. AI-generated content disclaimer

AI features in the Service generate suggestions using third-party language models. The output may be inaccurate, biased, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and editing every AI suggestion before using it. We make no guarantees about job outcomes, interview rates, or factual accuracy.

6. Intellectual property

You own the resume content you create. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to store, render, and transmit your content solely to provide the Service to you. The Service itself (code, templates, designs) belongs to us.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms; we will give you reasonable notice unless the violation is severe or legally required to act immediately.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Service is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.
